Together, these two areas have played a major role in the growth and development of Southwest Philadelphia over the past 100+ years. It’s just a 15-minute drive from downtown Philadelphia, a 20-minute drive to Cherry Hill, NJ, and is located near the Schuylkill River and Delaware River.
Some of the most exciting things to do in the Marconi Plaza-Packer Park area include FDR Park, Novacare Complex, Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia Phillies), Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers), and Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia Eagles).
